Nintendo's British Sales Numbers
Chart-Track has released an updated set of figures for the British market, revealing how many units of the Nintendo Wii and DS (all versions) have been sold since launch.

The figures show that while the Wii has a pretty sizeable install base for a country of 60 million people, it's got nothing on the combined selling power of the three iterations of the Nintendo DS.

Wii: 5.5 million
DS: 1.6 million
DS Lite: 7.5 million
DSi: 370,000

These numbers were issued as a correction to some figures released earlier in the year.

Developers recently toned down the shake of the camera in documentary-styled shooter Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles. They did this to make the upcoming Wii game easier to play, Capcom developers say. "It was a bit of a trial and error, this shaky cam," said Masachika Kawata during a meeting at this week's Gamescom convention in Cologne. "It was probably a little too much, so it's a little toned down now."

According to Siliconera, Cross Treasures has a unique networking mode, in which players design "his or her game world" and share it with other players. "Your custom world is also connected to worlds made by your friends resulting in a Cross Treasures multiverse." Square Enix Cross Treasures
