Alternate Reira/Arubeiru - Buy Green Card No. 318 "Saigo No Kissu (Last Kiss)" in Bonus mode. At the character selection screen, highlight Reira/Arubeiru and press R.
Castle stage - Buy Red Card No. 37 "Vamoon" in Bonus mode to unlock the Castle stage.
China Temple stage - Buy Red Card No. 35 "Tsuaoron" in Bonus mode to unlock the China Temple stage.
Dr. Nazonazo's stage - Buy Yellow Card No. 138 "Mikoruo Ma Zegaruga" in Bonus mode to unlock the Dr. Nazonazo's stage.
Egyptian stage - Buy Red Card No. 36 "Belgim E O" in Bonus mode to unlock the Egyptian stage.
Forest stage - Buy Red Card No. 72 "Umagon" in Bonus mode to unlock the Forest stage.
London stage - Buy Red Card No. 59 "Victoreem" in Bonus mode to unlock the London stage.
Moon Tower stage - Buy Red Card No. 38 "Demoruto" in Bonus mode to unlock the Moon Tower stage.
Password option - Defeat the first ten opponents in Zatch Bell's story line to unlock the "Password" option under the Bonus section. Enter one of the following passwords to active the corresponding cheat function:
Play as Dr. Riddles - Defeat Dr. Riddles in any Story mode to unlock him.
Play as Kido - Defeat Kido in any Story mode to unlock him.
Play as Koko - Buy all Spell cards in Bonus mode to unlock Koko.
Play as Laira - Collect all Event cards to unlock Laira.
Play as Li-En - Defeat Li-En in Story mode to unlock him.
Play as Maestro (Japanese version) - Win Time Attack mode 300 times to face Maestro. Defeat him to unlock him as a selectable character.
Play as Milordo-Z - Buy all Spell cards in Bonus mode to unlock Milordo-Z.
Play as Mohawk Ace - Buy all Mamodo cards in Bonus mode to unlock Mohawk Ace.
Play as Ponygon - Successfully complete Time Attack mode with any character to unlock Ponygon. Getting the powered up version of a character helps. To get the powered up version of Brago and Sherry, after defeating Brago and Sherry in Zeno's story, go to the park. Defeat powered up Brago/Sherry, who are encountered randomly. Then, successfully complete Zenos story to unlock powered up Brago/Sherry. Afterwards, use powered up Brago in Time Attack mode against normal opponents, and not the powered up version if you have it. On the final level you should fight Ponygon. Defeat him to unlock him. Ponygon has no spells. If you try to use one, a "?" will appear on his head.
Play as Victoream - Buy all Mamodo cards in Bonus mode to unlock Victoream.
Play as Wonrei - Defeat Wonrei in Story mode to unlock him.
Play as Zeno and Dufort - At the title screen, press Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Left, Right, X, A to unlock Zeno and Dufort.
Play as Zeno and Dufort in Story mode - At the title screen, press Up(2), Down(2), Right, Left, Right, A, X to unlock Zeno and Dufort in Story mode.
Play as Zeon and Deufo - Successfully complete Zatch's Story mode to unlock Zeon and Deufo as selectable characters.
Play as Zofis/Coco - Buy Red Card No. 66 "Brago VS Zofis" in Bonus mode to unlock Zofis/Coco.
Powered up Bari - Successfully complete Powered Up mode in Time Attack with a powered up character with a time less than 8:00.
Powered up Brago - Successfully complete level 52 (Don't Disappoint Me) in Zeno's story line, then go to Mochinoki Park.
Powered up Kanchome - Defeat Kanchome two times, Brago once, and Bari once in Tia's story line, then go to the Circus Tent.
Powered up Kido - Successfully complete Zatch's Story mode. Then, go back into his story and go to Mochinoki Park to fight a powered up Kido. He is not very difficult, but he counters frequently.
Powered up Laila - Successfully complete Powered Up mode in Time Attack with normal Laila.
Powered up Milordo-Z - Successfully complete Powered Up mode in Time Attack with normal Milordo-Z.
Powered up Ponygon - Defeat Ponygon at Mochinoki Park and Kanchome at the Department Store. Then, go to Mochinoki Middle School.
Powered up Tia - In Kanchome's Story mode, defeat Ponygon at the Park. Then, go to the Quarry and Folgore should say "Look, a Mamodo!". You will then fight a powered up Tia. Tia is the easiest powered up character to get.
Powered up Victoream - Successfully complete Powered Up mode in Time Attack with normal Victoream.
Powered up Waking Laila - Successfully complete Powered Up mode in Time Attack with normal Waking Laila.
Powered up Wonrei - In Wonrei's Story mode, defeat Zatch at London Suburbs, then go to Fairy Woods to fight a powered up Wonrei. Powered up Wonrei is fast, but besides that is easy to defeat.
Powered up Zatch - In Kanchome's Story mode, defeat Ponygon at the Park. Then, immediately go to the river bed to fight a powered up Zatch. He is semi-difficult.
Powered up Zeno and Dufort - When you defeat Ponygon at Fairywoods in Zatch's Story mode, go back and Zatch should say, "Hey, who are you?". You will then fight a powered up Zeno. If you lose, you can go back. Note: This battle is very difficult.
Powered up Zofis and Bari - Successfully complete Powered Up mode in Time Attack. To get Powered Up mode, defeat powered up Zatch.
Powered up forms - Win the first two rounds of a fight to get in your powered up form.
River Side stage - Buy Yellow Card No. 172 "Baberuga Gurabidon" in Bonus mode to unlock the River Side stage.
